About the Author

William is a science fiction writer, professional carpenter, and world traveler. Author of Waking the Machine, and The Arrowstar Chronicles. He lives in the Pacific Northwest with his dog, Rocko. His hobbies include photography, trekking, motorcycling and chess.

Born in 1985, he became an avid reader at the age of eleven when his father gave him The Sword of Shannara and he started writing soon after. Some of his other notable influences include The Wheel of Time, Ender’s Game, Old Man’s War, Dune, Expeditionary Force, The Expanse, Longmire, Game of Thrones and anything by Michael Crichton.

William published his second book, A Fistful of Heaven in September of 2024 and is currently working on the sequel. ETA Spring of 2025.
